Claude Project Downloader Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to Claude Project Downloader, a Chrome extension provided by Exts Hub ("Exts Hub", "we", "us", or "our"). It explains what information the extension processes, what information is handled locally in your browser, what limited information may be sent to Exts Hub or our service providers, and how you can control your data.

Claude Project Downloader helps users export and download Claude.ai conversations, project files, attachments, generated artifacts, and project knowledge content that is visible in the user's own browser. The extension can save selected Claude chats, selected files, or available project content in formats such as Markdown, JSON, ZIP, original file formats, and other supported download formats, depending on the extension version and the options selected by the user.

Claude Project Downloader is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Anthropic, Claude, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates.

1. Key Privacy Summary

• Claude Project Downloader processes Claude.ai project and conversation content in your browser only when you choose to run the extension.
• Exported Claude chats, project files, attachments, artifacts, and ZIP archives are saved to your device or browser download location.
• Exts Hub does not receive, store, sell, or share your exported Claude conversations, project files, attachments, generated artifacts, project knowledge base content, export files, file contents, or download results.
• The extension does not use the Claude content it reads for advertising, tracking, profiling, resale, model training, or unrelated analytics.
• The extension uses your existing Claude.ai browser session and does not ask for or collect your Claude password.
• Exts Hub servers are used only for limited account, subscription, pricing, payment, licensing, and support functions.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Exts Hub does not store complete payment card numbers.

2. Information the Extension Reads from Claude.ai Pages

When you open Claude.ai and choose to run Claude Project Downloader, the extension may read and process information visible or available through the Claude.ai page in your browser so it can perform the export or download action you requested.

Depending on the Claude content available to your account and the options you select, this may include:

• Claude project names, project identifiers, project structure, and project metadata visible on the page
• Claude conversation titles, conversation identifiers, conversation URLs, timestamps, and message order
• User prompts, Claude responses, chat text, generated text, and other conversation content selected for export
• Project knowledge base content, uploaded project files, file names, file types, file sizes, and file metadata
• Attachments, PDFs, documents, images, source code files, SVG artifacts, generated artifacts, and other available project resources
• Download URLs, file URLs, blob URLs, media URLs, and other technical links needed to retrieve content you choose to export
• Export settings such as selected items, selected format, selected files, and whether you choose an individual chat, individual files, or a complete project archive
• Technical webpage structure needed to identify Claude projects, conversations, files, artifacts, and attachments and to organize exported records

This information is processed locally in your browser for the purpose of creating the export files or downloads you requested. Exts Hub does not upload your Claude conversations, Claude project files, attachments, artifacts, or project knowledge base content to our servers.

3. Exported Files and Downloads

Claude Project Downloader can create or download files such as Markdown (.md), JSON (.json), ZIP (.zip), original file formats, PDFs, images, source code files, documents, SVG files, and other available Claude project resources.

Exts Hub does not receive or store:

• Markdown, JSON, ZIP, original-format, or other export files generated by the extension
• Claude conversations, prompts, responses, message history, chat titles, or chat URLs exported by you
• Claude project names, project files, project knowledge base content, attachments, artifacts, generated content, or file contents exported by you
• PDFs, documents, images, code files, SVG artifacts, binary files, or other downloaded resources
• Lists of Claude projects, conversations, files, or attachments that you choose to process

Your browser and operating system control where downloaded files are saved. You are responsible for managing, deleting, sharing, or securing exported Claude content after it is created on your device.

4. Smart Export Fallback

Some Claude content may not always be directly downloadable through the available Claude.ai interface. When normal export is not available, the extension may generate a ready-to-paste prompt that you can manually send to Claude to help retrieve content.

This fallback prompt is created in your browser for your use. Exts Hub does not receive the fallback prompt, the Claude response to that prompt, or any content you later export from the response, unless you voluntarily send that information to us in a support request.

5. Local Extension Data

To make the extension work and remember your choices, Claude Project Downloader may store limited information locally in your browser or on your device, such as:

• Extension settings and preferences
• Selected export format, selected files, selected chats, selected projects, and extraction preferences
• Product configuration needed to operate the extension
• Cached extraction state, temporary export results, temporary file references, or export progress while a user-requested task is running
• Local export or download history used by the extension interface
• Login or session-related values used to check subscription access, where applicable

This local extension data remains on your device. Exts Hub does not receive local extension data unless you choose to send it to us, for example by including screenshots, exported files, Claude content, or troubleshooting details in a support request.

You can delete local extension data by uninstalling Claude Project Downloader or clearing the extension's storage in your Chrome browser settings.

6. Account, Subscription, Pricing, Payment, and Support Information

Claude Project Downloader is a freemium extension. Some features may require account access or a paid subscription.

In those situations, Exts Hub may process the following limited information:

Google Sign-In. If you sign in with Google, Google may provide us with your email address, name, and profile photo. We use this information to identify your account and connect it with subscription access.

Subscription checks. When the extension needs to confirm whether a paid feature is available, it may send your email address and the Claude Project Downloader product identifier to our backend. We use that information only to return subscription status to the extension.

Pricing requests. The website or extension may request current product and pricing information from our backend so plan details can be displayed.

Payments. Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Exts Hub does not store complete payment card numbers. We may receive and keep payment-related records from Stripe, such as customer IDs, subscription IDs, product or plan IDs, renewal dates, payment status, and transaction status.

Support. If you contact us, we may receive your email address, name, message, attachments, screenshots, troubleshooting details, and any other information you choose to provide. If you include Claude export files, Claude conversations, project files, attachments, artifacts, or screenshots in a support request, we will use them only to respond to that request.

7. Information Exts Hub Does Not Collect Through the Extension

Exts Hub does not collect or store the following through our servers when you use Claude Project Downloader:

• Exported Claude chats, generated export files, or ZIP archives
• Claude prompts, responses, conversations, messages, chat titles, or chat URLs exported by you
• Claude project names, project identifiers, project knowledge base content, uploaded project files, attachments, generated artifacts, or file contents exported by you
• PDFs, documents, images, code files, SVG files, binary files, or other downloaded resources
• Your Claude password, Claude authentication credentials, or Claude authentication cookies
• Your general browsing history outside the Claude.ai pages where you choose to use the extension
• Cross-site tracking data, advertising identifiers, or behavioral advertising profiles
• Sensitive personal information such as financial account numbers, government IDs, health information, biometric information, or precise location, unless you voluntarily include that information inside Claude content you choose to export locally or send to us for support
• Complete payment card numbers

The extension does not run hidden tracking scripts, does not use advertising pixels, and does not sell user data.

8. How We Use Information

Claude Project Downloader uses Claude.ai page content only to provide the project, chat, file, attachment, artifact, and ZIP export features that you choose to use.

Exts Hub uses limited account, subscription, payment, pricing, and support information for the following purposes:

• To operate and maintain Claude Project Downloader
• To let users sign in, where sign-in is used
• To confirm subscription status and unlock paid features
• To display product and pricing information
• To process subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and payment records through Stripe
• To answer support requests and troubleshoot issues
• To protect the extension, our users, and our services from fraud, abuse, and security threats
• To comply with legal, tax, accounting, payment, and recordkeeping requirements
• To enforce our Terms of Service and other applicable agreements

Because Exts Hub does not receive exported Claude content or generated export files, we do not use that content for any server-side purpose.

9. Chrome Web Store Limited Use Commitments

Claude Project Downloader uses data only for purposes that are directly related to the extension's single purpose: helping users export and download Claude.ai projects, chats, files, attachments, artifacts, and project knowledge content that is visible in their own browser.

Our use of information received from Chrome extension permissions complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not use or transfer user data for:

• Advertising or retargeting
• Sale to data brokers or other third parties
• Model training or AI training datasets
• Creditworthiness, lending, or eligibility decisions
• Building unrelated user profiles
• Human review of Claude conversations, project files, attachments, artifacts, or project knowledge content, except when you voluntarily provide content to us for support or when required for security, legal compliance, or abuse prevention

We transfer limited user information only when necessary to provide or improve the extension, process payments, provide support, comply with law, protect against abuse or security threats, or as part of a business transaction where the recipient is bound by appropriate confidentiality and use restrictions. We do not transfer exported Claude content because we do not collect it.

10. Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell user data. We do not share exported Claude conversations, project files, attachments, artifacts, project knowledge content, or generated export files because that content is not sent to us.

We may share limited account, subscription, payment, and support information with service providers that help us operate Claude Project Downloader:

• Google Sign-In for authentication
• Stripe for payment processing, billing, renewals, and subscription records
• Supabase for account and subscription-related data storage
• Gmail and Zoho Mail for support, account, and service email communications

These service providers may process information according to their own privacy practices and service terms. We do not permit them to use information that we provide on our behalf for advertising, cross-site tracking, data resale, model training, or unrelated profiling.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a valid government request. We may also disclose information when we believe it is necessary to protect the security, rights, property, or safety of Exts Hub, our users, or others.

If Exts Hub is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, asset sale, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, limited account, payment, subscription, and support records may be transferred as part of that transaction. Exported Claude content would not be included because we do not store it on our servers.

11. Retention

Claude content processed locally by the extension remains on your device according to your browser settings, download choices, and local storage settings. Exts Hub does not control exported files after they are created on your device.

Local extension data remains in Chrome until you remove it, clear browser storage, or uninstall Claude Project Downloader.

Server-side account and subscription records are kept for as long as needed to provide the extension, verify paid access, process payments, maintain business records, comply with legal, tax, accounting, and payment obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.

Support messages are kept as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, maintain support history, and satisfy business or legal requirements.

When personal information is no longer needed, we will delete it or anonymize it where reasonably possible.

12. Your Controls and Requests

You choose when to run Claude Project Downloader and which Claude projects, conversations, files, attachments, artifacts, knowledge base content, and export formats to process. If you do not want the extension to process certain Claude content, do not run the extension on that page or content.

You can delete exported files directly from your device. You can delete local extension data by uninstalling Claude Project Downloader or clearing the extension's storage in Chrome.

You can manage Google Sign-In connections through your Google account settings, and you can sign out of or uninstall the extension at any time.

To request deletion of server-side account or subscription information, contact us at support@extshub.site. We may retain information where necessary for legal, tax, accounting, payment, dispute, fraud prevention, or security reasons.

You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we maintain about you. We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity before completing a request.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect the limited personal information processed on our servers, including account, subscription, payment-related, and support information.

The extension uses your existing Claude.ai browser session and does not ask for your Claude password. If information is transmitted to Exts Hub for account, subscription, pricing, payment, or support functions, we use secure transmission methods such as HTTPS where applicable.

No online service, browser extension, or storage method is perfectly secure. Claude conversations and project files may contain sensitive or confidential information, so you should protect exported files stored on your device and be careful before sharing them with others.

14. Third-Party Platforms and User Responsibility

Claude Project Downloader works with Claude.ai pages, projects, conversations, files, attachments, artifacts, and media selected by users. Exts Hub does not control Anthropic, Claude.ai, their content, their account settings, their availability, or their data practices.

Your use of Claude.ai remains subject to Anthropic's terms, policies, and account settings. You are responsible for using Claude Project Downloader in compliance with applicable laws, third-party rights, confidentiality obligations, workplace or school policies, and the rules of any platform you use.

15. Children's Privacy

Claude Project Downloader is not intended for children under 13. Children under 13 may not use the extension, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact support@extshub.site so we can take appropriate steps where required by law.

16. International Processing

Account, subscription, payment-related, and support information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws in your location.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we take steps designed to provide those safeguards.

17. Updates to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update it, we will change the "Last Updated" date and post the revised version on our website.

If a change materially affects how we collect, use, or share personal information for Claude Project Downloader, we will provide additional notice when required by law.
